Interview with a Leader

Leadership has evolved over time, from the ancient Greek concept of “aristeia” to today’s modern understanding of leadership. Great leaders throughout history have demonstrated qualities such as courage, humility, and resilience. For example, Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader who showed courage in the face of adversity and inspired millions of people to fight for civil rights. Mahatma Gandhi demonstrated humility through his non-violent protest movement and ultimately achieved Indian independence. And Nelson Mandela showed resilience in the face of apartheid, eventually leading South Africa to democracy.

Case Study

To further understand what leadership looks like in practice, let’s look at the case of Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon. Bezos is widely considered one of the most successful and influential business leaders in the world. He is known for his innovative thinking, focus on customer experience, and relentless pursuit of excellence. His leadership style emphasizes experimentation, risk-taking, and collaboration. He is also known for his ability to inspire and motivate employees to work hard and reach their full potential.
