Great looking Falcon...let us know when you're bringing it to the States for us to check out in person =)) .

What did you have to do to the shock towers to get the motor/SC into the engine bay?

Gday 64 RedBird i brought a lot of the parts from the states, head, manifold, dissy, tappet cover, etc through Classic Iinlines you guys over there have all the good stuff not much here in Aus for the old Falcon 6 any more. As for the shocky towers i have about 8mm clearance on the supercharger side, heeps on the other. Im makeing up a engine torque brace to make sure it dosnt hit.

Very Nice! I have been in the planning stages for this kind of upgrade in the distant future to replace my tri power set up.did you fab the blower manifold and brackets? also is the m90 snout (input shaft) stock length or is that a custom piece.last question, where did you find the lower pully (balancer).

Thanks in advance

Charlie

Gday Charlie,
Yes i made the brackets myself. The snout comes from a company here in Australia called Yellow Terror, they make a few different sizes look them up on the net and pick the longest one. The Pulley is from a EF Falcon 1997 model I think, Im running the EF crank as well (12 counterweight)but it will fit the 250,its about 1kg heaver than stock balancer. With a pretty good U.S. dollar you should be able to get the stuff for a good price.
Ill see if i can find some Pics of brackets and stuff.

You can also see in the pics at the top that i have made a bracket that goes from the inletmanifold-head to the supercharger across the top of the rocker cover. Im not sure how you would go with the standard head or if this top bracket could be left out.
You also need the DUI dissy with this setup as the standard one no longer fits.

Thanks for the response and pics. I am already running the DUI on the tri power setup and plan to use the classic inlines head. Any idea on boost pressure or torque and horse power numbers.

Well i hooked up msd unit and the exaust and tuned it the best i can now its just save some money and get it to a dyno for a proper tune. It sounds a bit diferent now with exaust hooked up and idleing a bit quicker for the auto.
